The Kinéo Awards, a celebrated event in the world of cinema, is set to commemorate its 25th anniversary with a grand ceremony in Venice, Italy on September 5, 2026. This year’s edition promises to be a star-studded affair, honoring both legendary actors and emerging talents.
The ceremony will take place at the Casa Cinema Giovani followed by a private dinner at the Hotel Ca’ Sagredo. This prestigious event is organized by the Kinéo Cultural Association founded by Rosetta Sannelli and is presented in partnership with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. Although it coincides with the Venice film festival the Kinéo Awards maintains its unique identity as a separate celebration of cinematic excellence.
Honoring Legends and Rising Stars
The Kinéo Awards will pay tribute to Faye Dunaway an iconic figure in Hollywood, with a lifetime achievement award. Dunaway’s illustrious career spans over five decades, featuring memorable roles in films like Bonnie and ClydeChinatown and Network. Her contributions to cinema have earned her an Oscar three Golden Globes a BAFTA and an Emmy among other accolades.
Joining Dunaway on the honor roll is Nicola Peltz Beckham who will receive the Rising Star Award. Peltz Beckham’s career, spanning 20 years includes notable roles in The Last AirbenderTransformers: Age of Extinction and Bates Motel. She has also ventured into producing and directing, with her upcoming film Prima marking the directorial debut of brothers Alessandro Morelli and Luca Morelli.
International Cinema Takes Center Stage
The Kinéo Awards will also shine a spotlight on international cinema, welcoming stars from around the globe. Alp Navruz from Turkey and Oka Giner from Mexico will be among the honored guests, reflecting the event’s commitment to celebrating diverse cinematic talents.
The ceremony will be hosted by Tatiana Luter and Marcello Foti who serves as the director of the Centro Sperimentale delle Arti Contemporanee and Head of Communications at the CSC – International Student Film Festival. Adding a touch of glamour, fashion designer Eleonora Lastrucci will debut a surprise tribute to a film star through one of her haute couture creations.

The Kinéo Awards will recognize outstanding achievements across various categories. Maria Gifuni will receive the Best Supporting Actress Award while Chiara Francini will be honored as Best Actress. In the television and streaming series category, Raniero Monaco di Lapio will be awarded for his performance, and Sara Lazzaro will receive the Best Series Actress Award for her role in Call My Agent Italia 3.
Other notable honorees include One Battle After Another by Paul Thomas Anderson which will be awarded as the Best International Film and Dinner with Dante recognized as the Best Short film. The Kinéo Awards continues to evolve, embracing the dynamic landscape of cinema and television.
