Speaking to Extra Gunn mentioned the challenges Alcock faces, including extensive travel and shooting schedules. Despite these demands, Alcock’s dedication is evident. Lars P. Winther, executive producer of Supergirl revealed that Alcock will also be a key part of the next unannounced DCU movie, indicating her growing importance in the franchise.
Gunn’s upcoming projects include a new Batman film, but he acknowledges that casting Superman is more challenging due to the specific Superman face that audiences expect. This unique characteristic limits the casting pool, making it harder to find the right actor for the role.
